Baptism and Outreach in the Tambaro District of South Green Field of the SDA in Ethiopia
Celebrating 114 Souls Baptized in April 2025

In April 2025, 114 individuals were baptized in the Tambaro Zone.
The videos and photos capture the part of the joyful baptism ceremony—a powerful testament to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of these precious souls.

This gospel outreach was carried out through the tireless efforts of gospel workers from The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP), under the guidance of the Tambaro District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the leadership of EGP. With dedication and prayer, the EGP gospel workers actively served throughout the region, bringing the message of salvation to many.

Congratulations to all who made this life-changing spiritual decision!
We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for the rich harvest of souls and the fruit He has graciously given us.

A Breakthrough in Central Belela: First SDA Church Established After Decades of Resistance

In February 2025, in Central Belela, a powerful spiritual breakthrough has taken place. After years of prayerful and persistent gospel outreach, The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP), alongside other dedicated groups and faithful individuals, has successfully planted the first Seventh-day Adventist Church presence in this historically resistant region.

For decades, Central Belela was considered one of the hardest places to reach with the gospel message. Spiritual resistance, cultural barriers, and strongholds of darkness made the work seem nearly impossible. But through unrelenting prayer, patient labor, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the power of the enemy was broken—and souls are now free in Christ!

The district leader, Evangelist Tadios Amono, now humbly pleads on behalf of this newly formed group of believers. He invites all who see the videos and photos of these infant souls in the faith to respond with compassion and support. These new believers are eager to grow in the truth, yet they lack even the most basic resources for worship and fellowship.

“This is the beginning of something eternal,” Evangelist Tadios shared. “But we need help. These precious souls have left darkness for light—let us not leave them in physical lack.”

How You Can Help

Your support can help provide:

  • A simple church structure or shelter for worship

  • Bibles and study materials for spiritual growth

  • Musical instruments to enrich their praise

  • Seating and supplies for Sabbath gatherings

  • Continued support for local gospel workers

What happened in Central Belela is nothing short of a spiritual victory. Where Satan once held firm ground, the gospel has triumphed. But now these newly baptized believers need the love and support of the broader church family.

Let us join hands to nurture this newborn church—to strengthen their faith, empower their worship, and ensure the gospel flame continues to shine brightly in this long-uncharted territory.

To God be the glory!

In the heart of Central Belela, hundreds of newly converted souls have accepted the Three Angels’ Messages and joined the remnant church movement. Yet today, these passionate believers meet in a cramped, dust-filled, rented hut with no pews, and no flooring.

As seen in the image, men, women, and children sit directly on the dirt floor—stacked tightly together—because the space is too small to hold the crowd God is gathering.

Testimony from the Frontlines: Planting the SDA Church in Luga

Luga SDA Church

On May 24, 2025, EGP gospel worker Alemayahu Dolebo shared a powerful testimony about the establishment of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Luga—an area previously unreached by the SDA message. He recounted the many challenges he faced in this mission field, including strong opposition, a lack of resources, and the deep spiritual hunger of the local community.

Despite the hardships, the group continues to grow in number and faith. Currently, they worship under a makeshift tent, exposed to the elements, as they have no permanent place of worship. Yet their determination and commitment to the truth of God’s Word remain unshaken.

Brother Alemayahu also noted that other groups are studying the Bible in remote mountain regions far from Luga, where he is also actively working to plant additional churches. These scattered groups are eager to learn and embrace the truth, but they too face challenges that require our prayerful and practical support.

He humbly appeals for continued prayers and assistance—especially for the construction of a church building and the provision of ministry resources—to support the growth of these churches and help them become lights to their communities.

Let us join him in faith and action, lifting up this growing body of believers and standing with those laboring in the frontlines of gospel work.

The Adinaqot Choir from Hadaro SDA Church joyfully ministers to the newly established Luga Church. Remarkably, the Hadaro Church itself was only founded a few years ago. Yet today, it is already preaching, singing, and serving in surrounding mission fields.

That is the beautiful power of the gospel—it spreads like wildfire. Those who are saved don’t sit still; they rise up to save others. They don’t just come to be served, but to serve.

Let this inspire us all: Let us run to save others. Let us carry the light forward. The work is urgent. The fields are ready.

Keizora Evangelistic Outreach : 42 Souls Won for Christ in Central Ethiopia

A 10-Day Mission by The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP)

“God has not wasted your efforts.” — Evangelist Tadios Amono

Mission Report: Keizora Evangelistic Outreach – Central Ethiopia
Date: May 10–17, 2017 E.C. (Gregorian Calendar: May 18–27, 2025)
Location: Keizora Church, Tambaro District of the SDA Church, Central Ethiopia

With hearts full of praise to God, we are blessed to report the results of a powerful 10-day evangelistic outreach conducted in the field surrounding the newly established Keizora Seventh-day Adventist Church in Central Ethiopia. This mission, held from May 10 to 17, 2017 in the Ethiopian calendar, has become a living testimony of what the Lord can do when His people unite in prayer, faith, and action.

By the grace of God and through the working of the Holy Spirit, forty-two (42) precious souls made the decision to follow Christ and have returned to the church. These individuals are now ready to attend baptismal classes and join the remnant church, affirming their commitment to walk in the light of God’s truth.

Evangelist Tadios Amono, District Leader of Tambaro, shared these words of encouragement directly:

“God has not wasted your efforts.”
(Addressed to Brother Daniel Shamebo Sabore, President of The Everlasting Gospel Projects. Inc.)

Yet, this work is not the fruit of one person’s and their family labor. These victories are the result of the united efforts of many faithful servants:

  • First and foremost, the Holy Spirit, who alone convicts, converts, and leads souls to salvation.

  • Secondly, the gospel workers of The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP), the pastors and evangelists of the local Seventh-day Adventist Church administration, and the volunteers who dedicated themselves to this mission.

  • We also thank the Keizora SDA Church members, who supported the effort with prayer, participation, and hospitality.

  • And we deeply appreciate our donors, intercessors, and friends who continually strengthen the ministry of EGP through their generous support.

The Need Ahead

Now that these new believers are eager to grow and take part in church life, there are urgent needs that must be addressed:

  • Bibles for the new members

  • Construction materials and support to build and strengthen churches like Keizora

  • Assignment of dedicated gospel workers to continue nurturing these souls

  • Ongoing prayer and financial support for the many newly established churches in areas where EGP is actively planting and growing the work

We humbly invite you to pray with us, give generously, and partner with us in this vital work. Together, we are fulfilling the Great Commission in some of the most underserved regions of Ethiopia.

The photos and videos below capture the beauty, joy, and spiritual victory of this evangelistic campaign. We share them with you to glorify God and to stir your heart to support the growing harvest.

“Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” — John 4:35

To God alone be the glory!

Pastor Degife Tirkaso – Evangelism Coordinator of South Green Field, SDA

10 Days of Powerful Preaching and a Call to Repentance

During those 10 days, EGP gospel workers and volunteers faithfully engaged in daytime outreach, visiting homes door to door to share the gospel and personally invite new potential souls to the evening meetings. These heartfelt visits opened the way for spiritual interest and created strong community connections.

Each evening, the gatherings were filled with uplifting songs and powerful sermons that stirred the hearts of the attendees. The atmosphere was sacred, the messages clear and Spirit-filled—each one pointing to the Source of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ. As the Word was proclaimed and Christ was lifted up, the Holy Spirit touched hearts and drew many to repentance and surrender, leading to a joyful and eternal decision for the Kingdom.

Join us in fulfilling Heaven’s final call. Choose a projects to support today and be part of transforming lives through the power of the gospel.

🎓 Graduation in the Mud: A Testament of Hope in Ambukuna (June 2025)

In June 2025, the children of Ambukuna Seventh-day Adventist School in Central Ethiopia marched proudly in their black caps and gowns, celebrating a milestone that speaks to their courage and commitment.

This special day was made possible through the ongoing support of The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP) and the dedication of local teachers and families. The graduation ceremony was held outdoors, not by choice, but by necessity — the school has no assembly hall where students and guests can gather under one roof.

Yet, what was lacking in buildings was made up for in joy and gratitude.

🏚 Incomplete Buildings, Overflowing Classrooms

While students attend school inside classrooms during the year, the facilities are only partially constructed. They lack windows, ceilings, finished floors, and proper lighting. The few classrooms that do exist are overcrowded, with narrow desks that offer no space to rest arms or write comfortably.

There are no offices for teachers, no meeting space, and no storage for school materials.

As enrollment rises, there is no room for the new classes planned for next year. Without urgent help, many eager children may be turned away.

🌾 Families in Need, Children with Dreams

All students come from low-income farming families, many of whom cannot afford even basic school supplies like pencils, notebooks, or sandals.

Children often attend without lunch, some walking long distances barefoot. Tragically, many drop out mid-year due to hunger, lack of clothing, tuition challenges, and preventable diseases such as malaria, typhoid, yellow fever, and malnutrition. There is no local health center to treat these children.

Still, they press on — dreaming of becoming teachers, pastors, nurses, and leaders in their communities.

🙌 A Graduation Day Filled with Purpose

This graduation was more than a ceremony. It was a public testimony of faith, resilience, and the power of Christian education.

Parents, teachers, and villagers gathered to honor the students’ achievements and encourage them to continue their journey. The children wore borrowed gowns with pride, recited poems, sang hymns, and gave thanks — sitting in small plastic chairs, on muddy ground, under the open sky.

🌟 Hadaro SDA School – 2025 Graduation Ceremony 🌟

🎓 Celebrating a New Generation of Hope and Truth 🎓

This year, Hadaro Seventh-day Adventist School joyfully held its graduation ceremony for students from Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
It was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and celebration as the children wore their caps and gowns with pride. Each child represents a seed planted in truth, and every song, smile, and prayer echoed the school’s mission to nurture not only minds but hearts for Christ.

👫 In 2025, Hadaro SDA School has grown to serve over 284 students from Kindergarten to Grade 2. This rapid growth shows the hunger for education — especially one rooted in the truths of the Bible and the unique message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

🗣️ Mr. Tafesse Shomoro, Education Department Director of South Green Field Field of the Eastern Ethiopia Union Mission, delivered a powerful address during the ceremony. He reminded all present that education is not merely preparation for this life, but for eternity. At Hadaro SDA School, this eternal perspective is the foundation of every lesson.

💔 Urgent Challenge: No Classrooms for 3rd Grade

While enrollment continues to grow, we face a major challenge:
We do not have the classrooms or infrastructure to accept students into 3rd grade next year.
Unless we expand, dozens of children will be forced to leave Adventist education at a critical stage — not because of lack of interest, but due to lack of space.

🙏 An Invitation to Partner With Us

We are prayerfully seeking support to:

✅ Purchase land for expansion
✅ Build new classrooms and learning spaces
✅ Provide desks, materials, and teacher resources
✅ Train more committed Seventh-day Adventist teachers

This is more than a building project — it is a mission to extend the everlasting gospel to children and families who have never known the truth as revealed in God’s Word. For many students, Hadaro SDA School is the only place where they hear about Jesus, His love, and His soon return.

💝 You Can Make a Difference

Will you help us finish what God has started?

Every brick, every dollar, every prayer will help build a future for these children and bring the light of truth to a forgotten field.

United in Prayer and Purpose at ASI 2025

Daniel S. Sabore, President of The Everlasting Gospel Projects (EGP), participated in the International ASI (Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries) Conference, held from July 27 to August 2, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. He presented and exhibited the mission, testimonies, and ongoing gospel outreach work of EGP in Ethiopia.

Throughout the week, many participants stopped by the EGP booth to learn more about the ministry’s work. Some took time to pray at the booth, lifting up the mission in Ethiopia and asking for God’s continued guidance and provision. Others promised to keep EGP in their prayers and expressed their desire to support the mission financially or through partnership.

We are deeply encouraged by the spiritual fellowship and meaningful connections formed at ASI 2025. Some of the visitors who prayed with us and showed interest in partnering with EGP are pictured below.
