Introduction
Ambukuna Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church, located in a rural community of Central Ethiopian Administrative Region. Four hundred eighty members of the Church have been dedicated to spreading the gospel and providing Christian education to children in the area. Recognizing the dire need for a Christian school, the church initiated Ambukuna SDA Church School in 2023 on a piece of extra land within the church compound. The school serves hundreds of children who otherwise would not have access to Christian education.
Despite the school’s remarkable progress, it faces significant challenges due to limited resources. The Everlasting Gospel Project, Inc. (EGP) generously funded the construction of initial classrooms made of wood and mud. However, the school still lacks:
Government supervisors have mandated that the school improve its infrastructure by constructing a high-standard, permanent building using concrete and metal, with proper utilities and sufficient room for staff and students. These improvements are critical to meeting government educational standards and ensuring the continued operation of the school.

The impact of the school extends beyond education; it has become a powerful tool for evangelism. During the July 2024 graduation ceremony, EGP President Daniel Shamebo Sabore witnessed the students’ remarkable performances in songs, Bible verse recitations, and various other activities. The school’s influence has led many students and their families to accept Jesus Christ, contributing to church growth.
The church and community members, primarily low-income farmers, struggle to meet basic needs, making it difficult for them to fund the necessary upgrades. To ensure the school’s sustainability and growth, we appeal to donors, organizations, and well-wishers to consider supporting in the following ways:
1. Infrastructure Development:
o Construction of a permanent school building with concrete and metal structures
o Additional classrooms to accommodate the growing student population
o Administrative and staff offices
o Proper sanitation facilities
o Installation of a reliable water supply and electricity

o Provision of textbooks, learning materials, and teaching aids
o Supplying desks, chairs, and other classroom furniture
o Developing a school library and computer lab

o Hiring more qualified teachers and teacher assistants

4. Student Sponsorships:
o Financial assistance for students from low-income families
o Scholarship programs to ensure that all children, regardless of financial background, receive a quality education

o Supporting evangelism programs through the school
o Assisting in the development of extracurricular activities that promote Christian values
